Kevin & Sara Joyce - Owners
In 2022, Kevin and Sara, Founders of Toi Toi Wines aquired the Coopers Creek brand into their portfolio. Kevin and Sara found Marlborough Wine Limited (MWL) in 2008 and have created / aquired successful brands which include Toi Toi Wines, Staete Landt, Map Maker and now, Coopers Creek. Still very much family owned and operated, the Joyce family look forward to carrying on with Coopers Creeks legacy of making unique and interesting wines which best reflect New Zealand's unique climate.
Adam Joyce -
CEO
In 2023, Adam joined the MWL business, taking the helm as CEO. His career experience has most recently been with the Inflite Group running one of the largest aviation tourism businesses in New Zealand. You will frequently hear Adam boasting about how great New Zealand is (proud kiwi!). From it's spectacular tourism opportunities like landing on the Mt Cook Glacier in a ski plane, to its ability to deliver an outstanding Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, Adam is deeply connected and passionate about the businesses he runs.
Samantha Joyce - Director Marketing
Sam joined MWL in 2018 leading their Global Marketing and Sales strategy. After a short break to add a few more little Joyce's to the family, she came back on board to continue working on growing the portfolio's brands.
"Things are a bit different since coming back. Before I went on maternity leave, we only had the Toi Toi brand, with the 4 additional brands in the group the landscape of the business has changed drastically," says Sam. "It's very exciting to get to work with so many different global partners".
Ant MacKenzie - Group Winemaker
Ant has been a winemaker for almost 30 years, managing to balance the requirements of both boutique and large wineries as chief winemaker and/ or winemaking consultant. At various times Ant has lived in Marlborough and Hawke’s Bay, commuting between both whilst also covering most of the winemaking regions of New Zealand.
