Winemaker Notes
Harvested off the Bell Vineyard, the 2023 growing season in Gisborne was challenging due to the amount of rainfall leading up to harvest. Fortunately the season was relatively warm which, with vigilant vineyard management, we were able to pick exceptional grapes. The resulting wines are typically fruit focused and exhibit accessibility and approachability on release.

Awards
90 points Cameron Douglas, Wine Sommelier “Aromas and flavours of peach and vanilla, pineapple and soft wood spice layers. There’s a freshness and vibrato from the acid line and youth highlighting vintage and vineyard and winemaking. As the wine opens out in glass the flavours remain persistent with acidity offering a youthful squeeze. Well made, dry on the finish and ready to enjoy from day of purchase through end of summer 2026.”
